Trojan golf traveled to Palm Springs, California for the Champions Invitational last weekend. Valley Christian finished 20th out of 45 schools at the tournament. Adjusting to the conditions, the Trojans scored in the top 10 in the final round of play. The tournament featured 36 holes on the first day and 18 holes on the second day.
Valley Christian was led by junior RJ David who finished tied for 33rd individually out of 250 players. Garrett deFisser finished t46, Evan Miller finished t141, James Mackey was t161 and Steven Widger finished 234th. Luke Wynn shot a 206 in two rounds on day one and Trey Harrison shot an 84 on day two.
