Biography

Bryan earned his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Arizona State University in History and Geography with a minor in Political Science and his Master’s in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine. He is a 2004 graduate of Valley Christian High School and now serves as the Director of Communications.

Prior to joining Valley Christian in 2012, Bryan worked in the Arizona State University Athletic Department for five years. While at ASU, he curated the Hall of Fame and managed special projects for athletic administration. Bryan coached girls basketball at Gethsemane Lutheran School for nine years and also served as the school’s athletic director. He has also served as a track & field, soccer, cross country and softball coach at Gethsemane.

In addition to his marketing and communications role, he has overseen the student ambassador and Blue Crew spirit groups and has served as an assistant coach to boys basketball, baseball and softball. Bryan announces athletic events for the Trojans and was named the National Public Address Announcer of the Year in 2005. He has directed an office that has received numerous accolades and awards from national and international organizations.

Outside of Valley Christian, Bryan has served on several education and ministry committees and enjoys consulting Christian and private schools across the nation. He also enjoys history, attending sporting events, traveling, and visiting museums. He leads one of the ENGAGE trips to Washington, D.C. every year.

Bryan is married to his wife Elyse and has a step-son (Gavin) at VCS and a newborn daughter (Gracie).
