Washington, D.C., 2020

Students will spend six, nonstop days in our nation’s capital in experience of DC’s monuments, buildings, museums, and places of historical significance.

What will team members do?

Students will engage with our nation’s history through a non-stop, five-day experience in Washington, D.C. Students will visit Arlington National Cemetery, the U.S. Capitol, Library of Congress, and see the White House. Students will take a trip to George Washington’s Mount Vernon, learn about Abraham Lincoln and his legacy at Ford’s Theatre and the Petersen House, and take a tour of our nation’s Department of Defense at the Pentagon. Additional museums and sites include visits to the National Archives, Holocaust Memorial Museum, American History Museum, Air & Space Museum, and Natural History Museum.

Memorials and monuments visited on the tour will include: the 9/11 Memorial at the Pentagon, U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, WWII Memorial, Washington Monument, and other sites along the National Mall.
