Q: WHAT BUSINESSES QUALIFY TO BE ADDED TO THE DIRECTORY?

There are two qualifications in order to have your business added to the directory:

Position Requirement: To submit your business, you must be an owner, chief officer (CEO, President, etc), or Independent representative (realtor, lawyer, loan officer, hair stylist, insurance agent, etc) of the company you are submitting.

Affiliation Requirement: You must be an alumnus, alumnus spouse, alumni parent, or a current parent of Valley Christian Schools.

Multi-level/network marketing companies are permitted in the Directory.

Q: HOW WILL PEOPLE FIND ME IN THE DIRECTORY?

Not only is there a permanent link on our website to the Directory, but we promote the Directory often, through the weekly e-newsletter, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), the printed directory in the front office, and more. We have an incredibly engaged community, and we are excited to send you more business from Valley Christian families!

Q: CAN I LEAVE A REVIEW ON BUSINESSES I USE?

Yep! Consumers can leave reviews on businesses in the directory, including overall rating, price, quality, and even specific details of the experience. All reviews are evaluated before they are posted publicly, so only legitimate reviews will be included.

Q: HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BE INCLUDED IN THE DIRECTORY?

Valley Christian deeply cares about better connecting our community, so we have chosen to alleviate a majority of the costs for our community.

Most church and para-church organizations using this directory charge $5-$10 per month for this option, but Valley Christian is making this available for FREE.

CLASSIFIED Text Ad: $4.95/month
Businesses who would like to be included in a sub-category and would like to be searchable by keywords should select this option (normally $10-$15/month). All paid advertisers will also have their logo and name included on the Business Directory banner that will hang year-round at Benson Field.

BASIC Display Ad: $14.95/month
Get a visually appealing and professionally-designed ad, and appear higher on the search rankings with a half-page display ad. All display ads will be featured and cycle through on the Directory homepage.

PLUS Display Ad: $24.95/month
Get a visually appealing and professionally-designed ad, and appear highest on the search rankings with a full-page display ad. All display ads will be featured and cycle through on the Directory homepage.

Q: HOW DO I GET IN THE PRINTED DIRECTORY AND ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD BANNER?

The Business Directory is available online 24/7, but we also provide printed copies of the Directory to be used in our own front office and in the lobbies, waiting rooms, and offices of other members of the Directory. To be included in each year’s printed Directory, you must complete your submission by AUGUST 24. To be included on the banner at the football field, you must complete your submission by August 24 and be a paid advertiser through the directory.
